The Point Pleasant area has several high quality shops for antiques and collectibles. Most are clustered along the center of town (Arnold Avenue section). The Chamber of Commerce can furnish a list of reputable dealers.
Jenkinson's Aquarium is open year-round and is great for kids as well as adults.
Point Pleasant Beach is known for its famous boardwalk over one mile long. It contains numerous rides, games, arcades and eating establishments. In addition, during the summer months there are fireworks every Thursday and a free concert on the beach every Wednesday.
Playdrome 88 Lanes
Point Pleasant Beach has some of the best fishing on the East Coast. The Manasquan Inlet area has numerous charter boats available for the beginner or the more experienced fisherman. Call the Chamber of Commerce for more information.
